Same same but different!
We are all same, at the same time we are all different. We all are at the different stages of life, environments and relationships, etc.
Say, you are a rocket-scientist and your five-year-old daughter asks you a question with curious eyes, how would you do?
Does it make sense to you that you answer to her from your scientific background, with using all the terms and deepened scientific knowledge and analysis?
If then, will she understand?
I believe what you do is to lower your eye-height to her level, not only physical eye-level, but also everything possible to her level, with everything that comes out of your brain & heart, in other word, within.
Say, you are a waiter in a restaurant and take orders from customers from tables. To be polite and friendly, what can you do best in your gesture and attitude to make customers feel warm welcome that they are well greeted and being taken care of, even for a very short moment of just taking orders?
Your best is to lower your eye level to customers’ with all your ears. The rest comes on its own.
