You
might have heard of a typical eastern story, like a young lad finds a
master in martial arts somewhere deep in the mountains but the master
doesn't teach him any thing for 9 years, except asking him to do house
chores - washing clothes, lumbering & carrying water from a well to
kitchen.
One
day he goes in town for an errand and gets in a trouble with local
gangsters. He gets attacked from them but he naturally finds himself
controlling them with no difficulty.
What a typical eastern classic story!
How does this work?
Just being around the master in daily life with doing daily routines over long time. It accumulates and finally ki/chi/life energy builds up at the speed of the earth.
The sparrow near a school sings the primer.
This means a lot!
Being persistent is the key!
This is what happening to people around me and at the same time I become like them.
